Employment Terms:

  • This role is a 8-9 week internship with the opportunity to transition to full-time
  • Internship and full-time employment are both fully in-office
  • Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Overtime: Additional hours may be required
  • Target Start Date: June 2025
  • Estimated Salary: $60,000/year
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future

Essential Tasks - In this job, you will:

  • Perform Transaction Analysis on all Fixed Income Trades in Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Public Funds to monitor the quality of the pricing vendors and ensure that third party pricing vendors are in line with the market
  • Review all fixed income security transactions (i.e. buys and sells on bonds) in the Goldman Sachs fixed income funds on a weekly basis
  • Compare prices on the official books and records at the fund administrator versus the transaction price
  • Investigate any security level differences which break the tolerance levels
  • Follow a data-intensive process to source inputs from multiple systems and compile into a specific format
  • Review automated calculations to ensure accuracy and generate summary statistics and management reporting from the data

  • Intermediate data management skills (such as transferring information, using formulas such as VLOOKUP, and creating charts/graphs and pivot tables) using Microsoft Excel

Education/Knowledge - In this job you need to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
    • A degree in Accounting or Finance is nice to have but not required
  • CPA, CFA or other relevant industry certification is nice to have but not required
