- This is a summer internship role (Duration: 10 weeks)
- This is a hybrid role requiring in-person work three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
- Access to a private workspace with reliable internet connection is required for hybrid work days
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri (9:00am-5:00pm)
- Internship Start Date: June 1, 2026
- Internship End Date: August 7, 2026
- Estimated pay rate: $20 per hour for undergraduate interns, $25 per hour for graduate interns
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
Essential Tasks - In this job, you will:
- Participate in internal and external meetings between Healthfirst, external agencies, NY State partners, and essential providers
- Receive and respond to requests for information regarding provider and member-specific information
- Generate ad hoc and repeat reporting to support the Behavioral Health department
- Performs other duties as assigned and required

- A desire to learn Healthfirst care management platforms (training will be provided)
Digital/Technical Skills - In this job you will demonstrate:
- Intermediate data management skills to be able to maneuver Microsoft Office applications, such as the following:
- Transferring information and creating charts/graphs using Excel
- Scheduling meetings and sending emails using Outlook
- Creating documents and formatting text using Word
Education/Knowledge:
- Undergraduate Students: Must be a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited institution or have completed a Bachelor's degree within the past 12 months. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
- Graduate Students: Must be currently enrolled in a Master's program at an accredited institution or have completed a Master's degree within the past 12 months. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
