Summary:
Title: Business Systems Analyst
Employment Type: Full Time
Hours: Standard working hours (9-5)
Location: Toronto, ON or London, ON (Hybrid - 2 days per week in office)
Salary: $70,000-$80,000
Target Start Date: January, 2025
About this Role:
Essential Tasks - In this job, you will:
- Work with business partners to define, develop and document detailed business requirements and organize solution documentation
- Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and quality engineers to deliver an end-to-end capability from concept to production-deployment.
- Provide recommendations with full usability analysis.
- Conduct program/ system research, analysis, detailed design and problem resolution
- Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise and keep current with leading-edge technologies trends/developments and develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure,
General Skills and Abilities - You are:
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment and ask for support when needed
- The ability to manage multiple priorities
- The ability to manage time and estimate effort required to complete tasks
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders, ask questions, and provide solutions
Digital/Technical Skills & Tools - You are:
- Intermediate skill level with Excel, Visio, or similar visualization and analytical tools
- Intermediate skill level with PowerPoint
Education/Knowledge - You:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computing, or a similar field or a technical certificate
- Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Experience (Professional, Academic, Personal) - You:
- Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience with technology project delivery and agile delivery methodology
- Hands-on programming experience
